Dental implants have been used successfully for over 25 years.
Dental implants have been used successfully for over 25 years. Although not for everyone, dental implants can provide natural looking replacement of missing teeth. They can also be used to anchor or stabilized dentures. Not every dentist has training and experience in Implant dentistry. In fact, many dentists received no formal training in Implant Dentistry while they were in dental school. Thus, it is important to find a dentist with proper post-graduate training and experience in this new and exciting area of dentistry.
Dental Implants are placed by a dental surgeon into the jawbone following careful study and planning. This study and planning should minimally include: Photographs of your teeth, smile and mouth, x-rays of your teeth and jawbone, molds of your mouth / jaw bones, and a functional analysis of how your upper and lower jaw inter-relate.
All-On-Four Hybrid Restoration
Allows us to place implants as well as replacement teeth in the very same day.
The All-On-Four technique now allows us to place implants as well as replacement teeth in the very same day. This has been made available by advancements in CT scanning and computer aided analysis. It is a method first developed in Europe about 20 years ago and has proven to be successful in many cases world-wide.
Dr. Henny was the first dentist in southwest Virginia to offer the All-On-Four technique in 2006 and has had a number of successful outcomes with this approach.

Sleep ApneaI am so grateful for Dr.Henny's help with my sleep apnea issue. I was unable to wear the CPAP machine and it was driving my wife crazy with all the noise. The bite appliance Dr.Henny made for me is so much easier to use than CPAP, and the quality of my sleep is so much better now! No more dozing off at work and my wife is so much happier!!! Great Experience!all the hype about dr henny and this staff was pretty hard for me to believe, so i decided to go in and meet with him while holding a bit of skepticism in the back of my mind. i had eight of my upper front teeth capped about three years ago, and i cried when the dentist showed them to me when he was done - and i mean cried in a bad way. they looked horrible and nothing like natural teeth. dr henny helped me learn what was wrong with my caps and what my choices were relative to having the dental work corrected and improved.i am so excited about restoring and improving my smile, that i have hope again!
